CCNA will now cover many new & advanced topic for the first time like IPv6, RSTP, IP services like DHCP & DNS, Wireless LAN, Security, Troubleshooting Nat & ACL & VPN technologies.ISR configuration using both CLI & SDM (web based interface )would be standard part of all configuration. |
| Why so many advance technologies introduced in CCNA? The reason why so many advance features shows up in new ccna because CCNA is no longer entry level certification. The NEW CCNA candidates would be expected to configure small to medium size enterprise network. It also means more value to a certification in industry. As far as entry level is concerned NEW CCENT certification has been added. |
| What is CCENT? CCENT will now be the lowest in Cisco hierarchy. It will certify a candidate to handle basic c configuration to small medium enterprise network. You get all the advantage of having international c certification a candidate will now have option to go for ICND1 or a composite 640-802. |
